Epoxy resin is a common bisphenol A type epoxy resin such as E-55, E-51, E-44, the curing agent used is two yuan and the high solubility of high melting point anhydride and aromatic amines, such as benzene two amine, phthalic anhydride, phthalic anhydride and four chloro two methyls, secondary MTHPA (MNA), can also be the imidazole curing agent.

In recent years, on the mechanical properties of pultruded products, heat resistance, fatigue life and electrical performance of the increasingly high demand, so the research progress of pultrusion process for epoxy resin system quickly. American Shell company has developed two kinds of epoxy curing agent system, EPON 9102/ CA 9150 and EPON 9302/9350 are CA curing agent, bisphenol A epoxy resin. CA9150 special curing agent is a special liquid anhydride, CA9350 heterocyclic amine curing agent has been successfully used for composite automobile plate spring and rod, etc.

Epoxy resin pultrusion powder filler products commonly used are SiO2, CaCO3, talc, wollastonite powder, TiO2, 150 ~ 300 mesh fineness, the amount of 10 ~ 15%, flame retardant with flame-retardant resin and flame retardant curing agent, can also adopt active and nonactive four bromine flame retardants such as bisphenol A, the water content of oxygen aluminum pigment; commonly used inorganic pigments, the amount is 0.5 to 5%.
