Fiberglass Pultrusion Process


Pultrusion process is forming the technology of composite material for preparing composite material products, and it’s a composite forming process of mechanization technology in the highest, therefore, the production efficiency is very high.

There are two types of pultrusion processes: one is the process of fiber materials impregnated resin, then goes through a heating type with the excess resin for extrusion, molding resin curing by heating in the model, stretched out. The other one is in constant pultrusion speed will increase the fiber pull overheating type. At the same time, will have been triggered by resin injection into the type, make full immersion of the fiber, and the gel solidification. The former method for resin system with period longer, resin system for the latter method required shorter. Resin molding pressure of 0.1-0.5Mpa.

The use of resin pultrusion process includes unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl ester resin, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, thermoplastic resin.
